Planning, Land Use, Design and Environmental Professionals, please join us for a series of six interactive events to discuss how the Sacramento region can achieve sustainability in a resource scarce environment. How do we compete for scarce resources to improve the region for future generations? How do we balance the competing priorities of environmental quality, economic vitality and social equity so that we create a better Sacramento Valley?

The Sacramento Valley Section of the American Planning Association California Chapter (APA) is proud to partner again with the Association of Environmental Professionals (AEP), American Institute of Architects (AIA), California Sierra Chapter American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA), Environmental Council of Sacramento (ECOS), Urban Land Institute (ULI), and US Green Building Council – Sacramento (USGBC) on this important and timely Speaker Series.

Each session will take place on the FINAL FRIDAY of each month June through November 2009 from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. (November’s session will be held on the third Thursday, due to Thanksgiving.). 1500 Capitol Mall – California Department of Public Health Auditorium (September and October location TBD)
