Merced County Affordable Housing Maps

by Alida Cantor last modified November 23, 2008 01:56 PM

About the Project:

These maps were created to support a project of the Center for Regional Change and the California Coalition for Rural Housing regarding shelter poverty in Merced County, California. The goal of the project is to inform local policymakers and citizens about the need for adequate and affordable housing in Merced County, in an effort to work toward alleviating shelter poverty in the County. To this end, maps of relevant US Census (2000) data were produced to develop a picture of the population and its characteristics, as well as the affordability of housing in the County.
