Donald Terry, Vice President Community Development Officer for Wells Fargo Bank, discussed Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) compliance and the potential role of academic research in assisting banks in quantifying the impacts of investments in communities and determining which loans in which communities can yield the greatest impacts at the regional scale. Beth Rose Middleton gave a presentation at the March CRC Staff Meeting: Opportunities for Justice in Conservation. She discussed creating entrepreneurship using environmental statutes for cultural preservation, tribal resource conservation districts, and indigenizing natural resource policy and planning. Learn about her work and her new book released in Spring 2011 about native land trusts, entitled Trust in the Land: New Directions in Tribal Conservation.
