Bio

Currently a graduate student in Community Development, Cristina is interested in sustainable land management, youth engagement and environmental justice. She has a background working for the State Department in Nicaragua, teaching English in Japan and teaching environmental education with non-profits and national parks in Central American and in the United States. She has a B.A. in International Relations Spanish from U.C. Davis and is currently working in the CRC as an Engaged Scholar aiding in curriculum development, community engagement and outreach with the Making Data Matter Initiative.
