Bio

Gabriela Cruz is an undergraduate studying communications with a path into law.  She is a member of Mujeres Ayudando La Raza who assist the disadvantaged Latin community by raising funds and holding events to promote a more prosperous environment for them.  Cruz is passionate about helping and making a difference for those in need, and hopes to provide disadvantaged communities with equality and better opportunities.  As a Bradshaw Scholar, she will be working with the Center for Regional Change's Director of Informatics, Dr. Cassie Hartzog, to provide meaningful data research that will help advocate for change within the communities affected by racial disparity in drug arrests.
