2020 Bradshaw Scholar
Jenny Wagner is a first-year PhD student in Public Health Sciences. Over the last four years since finishing her Master’s in Public Health at UC Davis, Jenny has explored various roles in nonprofit and academic settings. Her previous work has centered on collaborative approaches to community health improvement, including efforts related to hospital-based community benefit, air pollution, digital access and literacy, food waste, Tribal health, capacity building and collective impact. Jenny’s current research interests include structural and social determinants of health, health policy, and intersections of health and place. Through the Ted Bradshaw Engaged Student Scholars Program, she hopes to gain further exposure and experiences in regional work to promote social and environmental justice.
