Araceli Moreno has 5 years of administrative experience and 4 years of teaching experience. At the CRC, Araceli manages communications with campus and community partners, coordinates activities between members of research teams, works on grants management and reporting, plans outreach and educational events that advance community-engaged research, and much more. Her commitment to social justice and equity has led her to the various volunteer work she has committed to in her community, which includes delivering meals to people experiencing food insecurity through the Meals on Wheels Yolo County and NorCal Resist programs, mentoring children in foster care through the Yolo County C.A.S.A. program, and advocating with immigrant/asylum seekers in the community via community outreach, grant writing, and Pro Se clinics through NorCal Resist.
Araceli holds a Master in Education from the University of San Diego and a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics from UC Davis.
