Rachel received a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science with a minor in Environmental Engineering from UCLA in 2020. She is now a first-year student pursuing a Master’s of Science in Environmental Policy and Management at UC Davis. Prior to attending graduate school, she interned for local environmental nonprofits Orange County Coastkeeper and Orange County Environmental Justice before working as an Environmental Analyst at Soil, Water, Air Protection Enterprise, an environmental litigation consulting firm. Rachel’s experience includes providing technical and writing support for environmental litigation cases related to toxic exposures and evaluating community and occupational exposure to toxic pollutants and resulting cancer risk. She is interested in environmental and public health issues related to air quality, drinking water contamination, and exposures to hazardous substances.
