Ted Bradshaw Engaged Student Scholars Program Application

The CRC Student Engaged Scholars Program is open to undergraduate and graduate students at UC Davis.  The program is housed in the Center for Regional Change (CRC), a solutions-based translational research center with a mission to inform the building of healthy, prosperous, sustainable, and equitable regions in California and beyond.

The program is designed to provide meaningful and valuable volunteer experience for select undergraduate and graduate students.  Scholars will have the opportunity to work one-on-one with research faculty and campus/community partners on social justice and environmental issues.  Throughout this program students will also receive leadership and capacity training, as well as attend CRC related events. Each student will work on an individual/independent applied research project associated with the CRC activities.  Scholars will prepare a presentation about their work in academic, policy, and community settings.  Students are expected to participate in the dissemination of the research, present their work to other students, and attend periodic meetings to discuss research progress.

The CRC is committed to the values of social justice in our world and building a diverse and welcoming organization for people of all backgrounds. People of color, women, and other underrepresented groups are strongly encouraged to apply.
