Ted Bradshaw Engaged Student Scholars Program
The CRC Student Engaged Scholars Program is open to undergraduate and graduate students at UC Davis. Scholars are connected with providers in a matching process based on the application information. Participants will have the opportunity to work one-on-one with research faculty and campus/community partners on social justice and environmental issues.
The program is designed to provide meaningful and valuable volunteer experience for select undergraduate and graduate students. Scholars will be able to strengthen their skills in presenting research and get insight into academia, as well as work in project(s) they are passionate about. Throughout this program students will also receive leadership and capacity training. They are granted opportunities to attend CRC related events, socials and workshops that aim to build community.
Each student will work on an individual/independent applied research project associated with the CRC activities. Scholars will prepare a presentation about their work in academic, policy, and community settings. Students are expected to participate in the dissemination of the research, present their work to other students, and attend periodic meetings to discuss research progress.
