My name is Ari Ruiz and I am a fourth year economics major at UC Davis. I am set to graduate in the spring and am currently applying to graduate schools for a Master’s in Applied Economics. I am pursuing my passion in the field of economic development as I hope to one day use my education to create solutions aimed at uplifting rural communities both in the US and around the world. 

Fun fact: I compete in equestrian riding and have a love for all things animal and nature.
