Bio

Daniel Choe is an Associate Professor of Human Development and Family Studies in the Department of Human Ecology.  His research focuses on children’s development of self-regulation, conduct problems, and mental health with a particular focus on early childhood experiences of adversity.  He also examines mothers’ depressive symptoms, parenting behavior, and their interplay with children’s adjustment problems.  Daniel earned a Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology from the University of Michigan and completed postdoctoral training in the Departments of Psychology and Psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh.
