Expertise areas: Program evaluation, survey development, needs assessments, and mixed-methods evaluation designs.

My work focuses on conducting research to inform the evaluation practice of University of California Cooperative Extension and other colleagues and working with them to build their evaluation capacity by offering workshops, one-on-one consulting, and developing educational materials.  In my previous positions, I evaluated projects related to agriculture, conservation, environment, natural resources, and climate change using comprehensive mixed-methods evaluation designs.  This work led to publications highlighting how projects can be improved by using sound evaluation designs.
